Bladnoch 11 Year Old is a refined single malt Scotch whisky from the historic Bladnoch Distillery, located in the Lowlands of Scotland. This expression is aged exclusively in ex-bourbon casks for 11 years, allowing the whisky to develop a rich and complex character while retaining the distillery’s signature light and floral style. Bottled at 46.7% ABV and non-chill filtered, the Bladnoch 11 Year Old is a pure, natural expression of Lowland whisky craftsmanship.
Tasting Notes
COLOR:
Pale gold with a bright sheen.
NOSE:
Fresh and floral, with vibrant notes of green apples, pear, and honey. There’s a pleasant hint of dried fruits and vanilla from the sherry casks, complemented by subtle oak and a touch of cinnamon.
TASTE:
On the palate, it is smooth and light, with flavors of honey, orchard fruits, and creamy vanilla. The ex-bourbon casks bring a sweet richness, while the ex-sherry casks add a layer of dried fruits, raisins, and gentle spice. A soft oakiness rounds out the profile, providing balance and depth.

The finish is medium-long, with lingering notes of honey, citrus zest, and a delicate spiciness. A touch of oak lingers, giving the finish a satisfying warmth and smoothness.
