The Longrow Red 11-Year-Old Cabernet Franc is a distinctive single malt Scotch whisky from the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. Released in 2018 as part of the limited-edition 'Red' series, this expression showcases the harmonious marriage of Longrow's signature heavily peated spirit with the nuanced influences of Cabernet Franc wine casks.
This whisky underwent an initial maturation period of 9 years in bourbon barrels, followed by a 2-year finishing phase in fresh Cabernet Franc barriques sourced from the De Toren Private Cellar in Stellenbosch, South Africa. This maturation process imparts a unique depth of flavor, blending smoky peat with rich, fruity wine notes. Bottled at a cask strength of 55.9% ABV, it offers an intense and robust tasting experience.

FINISH:
Long-lasting with persistent smoky notes, leaving a memorable impression of the peated character.
