Description
El Occidental Mezcal Guerrero is an artisanal spirit hailing from the Axaxacualco region in Guerrero, Mexico. Crafted from 100% organic Agave cupreata, also known locally as Maguey Papalote, this mezcal is produced using traditional methods. The agave hearts are roasted in earthen pits for three days, crushed with a mechanical mill, and undergo natural fermentation in large wooden vats. The spirit is then distilled twice in copper stills, resulting in a mezcal that embodies the rich heritage of Guerrero.

Intense and floral, with a complex and sweet bouquet that reflects the semi-warm microclimate of the high mountains and canyons of Axaxacualco.
