Description

The Château Doyac was acquired in 1998 by Max de Pourtalès, a former banking employee. Together with his wife, they manage this magnificent vineyard of 28 located in the Haut-Médoc. It is situated on a limestone bedrock and 80% of the vines are Merlot. Max de Pourtalès aims to make fine, elegant wines, while respecting the balance and freshness that characterises the great wines of Bordeaux.

Tasting Notes

Shimmering purple. Aromas of black fruits and spices. Rich and structured, with a touch of acidity that gives a sensation of freshness.

Serve with beef with onions, duck leg confit.
