Description

Located on the territory of "Haut-Barsac" , a clay plateau on cracked limestone, the Château de Myrat is a 30-hectare property that surrounds the estate: 22 hectares of vines and 8 hectares of parkland. The pure-lined castle was rebuilt around 1730 on older vaults by the Demirat family, lawyers under Louis XIV.

This elegant charterhouse is arranged around a central pavilion with freestone floors from which two wings lead out onto the garden.

If you happen to walk in this unique place of refinement and calm , you will discover, at the bend of the English garden or in the alleys of the wood with the hundred-year-old trees, the peacocks, pheasants, squirrels or deer which have taken up residence there.

Tasting Notes

It is a rich and generous vintage that we discover at Château de Myrat. Gourmet, the aromatic bouquet intoxicates us with scents of beeswax, mango, pineapple, passion fruit and a delicate note of acacia. On the palate, Château de Myrat is fine and elegant , with a lovely freshness that contrasts with the smoothness of the aromas. Tense and tasty, the finish languidly lingers on our taste buds.
