Château Coutet was ranked third in the Top 100 World Wines published by Wine Spectator, an achievement which has spurred the team at the estate on to even greater things.

Château Coutet, a Classified First Growth, is a flagship of the Barsac appellation. After a few years in the bottle, it develops spice and tropical and candied fruit notes, in delicate harmony.

Tasting Notes

Medium lemon-gold coloured, the Coutet is relatively evolved, revealing honey nut, ginger ale and baked peaches scents with touches of straw, fresh figs, quince paste and nutmeg. Loads of nutty nuances accenting the dried fruits, finishing deliciously spicy.
