Description

This blend has a dark red hue, with almost a chocolate tinge to it. The bouquet does indeed smell very much like chocolate. There is also a hint of currants, perhaps blackcurrant with a touch of cloves. The body is medium-light and dark in complexion. The body is quite light, owing to the merlot, with a subtle hint of the cabernet – another balanced and silky finish here. There is a slightly chalky aftertaste with a clean finish. Good as aperitif, paired With dark chocolate.
