Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit is a single barrel bourbon, which means no two barrels will be exactly alike. First released in 1994, it is said to be the second single barrel bourbon to hit the market after Blanton’s. Single barrels are selected by Jimmy and Eddie Russell, and in some cases offered as private selection barrels that were pre-selected by the Russells for inclusion in the single barrel selection program.

TASTE: Full-bodied and surprisingly rich even for its 101 proof, the sip lands with a splash of rye spice. FINISH: Spice initially pulls back into the mix, and takes a foothold that lasts throughout the long finish. |
