Description

In charge of the parcels acquired by his uncle and grandfather, Mathieu Deiss works his vines according to biodynamic principles and uses little or no sulphites in his wines. This white is made of Gewurztraminer, where 20% of the grapes undergo skin maceration. The result is textured and offers all the aromatic profile of the varietal.

Tasting Notes

The name of this wine (meaning "Life in Pink") may refer to the rosy-pink color of the grape used to produce it, but it also alludes to the pronounced aroma of rose petals that greets the nose. Biodynamically produced by Mateo Deiss on the family's property, this elegant, fully bodied Gewurtz is a joy to drink. An oily texture joins notes of apple cider on the palate, culminating in a lightly sweet finish that lingers on and on.
