Description

Viñas del Vero Macabeo-Chardonnay is a white wine from DO Somontano, prepared by the Viñas del Vero winery. This wine is a blend of Macabeo and Chardonnay. The grapes are grown in vineyards planted between 1988 and 2000. They are planted at an altitude of between 350 and 450 metres. The soils are Miocene, sand and loam with an abundance of stones. The harvest of the two varieties is performed at different times and grapes are cooled before being pressed. Alcoholic fermentation occurs slowly at a controlled temperature of 16º in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes

This wine is bright, luminous, and attractive. It offers us an aromatic palette of wide and complex expression: fruits, flowers, and herbs in great balance that invite us to taste it immediately, where we find harmony with the previous aromas. With a smooth attack, and a clean and elegant palate, it is a balanced, coherent, easy, and an especially tasty wine.
