Description

The grapes for our Beside Broke Road Pinot Gris were sourced from the King Valley, a cool-climate region in north-eastern Victoria. After being harvested in the very early hours of the morning, when the fruit was at its coolest, the grapes were lightly pressed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures. The wine then spent an extended time on yeast lees to gain extra complexity and texture.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Straw yellow with slight green reflections.

NOSE:
The bouquet shows lifted citrus notes and hints of pear and ginger.

TASTE:
The palate continues these citrus and pear flavors, providing a lovely fine-grained texture and soft acid finish.
