Do you consider yourself a bit of an explorer when it comes to the big, wide world of gin? Well then, you'll want to explore the limited edition expression from the Lakes Distillery in Cumbria!

The Lakes Gin Explorer Edition is made using a base of English wheat spirit, alongside a selection of 15 botanicals, including 5 botanicals which are native to the Lake District National Park (it's also got Cumbrian juniper!). The ABV has been bumped up to 47.1% ABV, too. Fantastic in a G&T - you'll want to garnish it with a good wedge of fresh pink grapefruit...

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Earthy juniper notes rise from the glass, supported by subtle wafts of floral angelica and fresh lemon zest.

TASTE:
Still fragrant and floral as it open, shortly followed by a kick of peppercorn and caraway. Bright, vibrant juniper at the core, supported by more citrus.

FINISH:
Lingering hints of crushed coriander seed, licorice root and dried orange peel.
