Description

Tequila Ocho is a collaboration between Carlos Camarena and Thomas Estes, two of the tequila world's great profiles. The distillery is called La Alteña and is located in Arandas in Jalisco.

Ocho is one of the few tequilas that writes both the vintage and the specific field from which the agave is harvested on the bottle. This is of course part of their message about the tequila's "terroir" - a concept borrowed from the wine world, which covers the way the earth, the climate, altitude and more. affects the character and taste of the drink.

Tasting Notes

Slightly golden. Distinctive notes of dulce de leche, black pepper, vanilla, fresh cream and nuts. A hint of pepper and anise and lots of toffee and vanilla - but without being sweet - the crispy character of the tequila is still upright and nice.
