Tamdhu's sixth batch of its Batch Strength single malt Scotch whisky has arrived! This expression is always a welcome sight, having been matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled up at cask strength (this time it's a robust 56.8% ABV). An excellent winter warmer, we reckon, what with all those Christmas cake notes running through it.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Walnut loaf, coffee, and a good whack of dried fruit.

TASTE:
Dates, Christmas cake, cinnamon, oak, barley sugar, and more coffee.

FINISH:
Red apple, a smidge of citrus, leather, good sherry.
