The Springbank 14 Year Old Port Wood is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky from the Campbeltown region, distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2004 as part of the distillery's "Wood Expressions" series. This limited edition release comprises 7,200 bottles, each bottled at a cask strength of 52.8% ABV.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: A harmonious blend of fruit acids, plum wine, and subtle hints of cellar must and hessian, complemented by notes of metal polish and lamp oil.
TASTE: Tangy and vibrant, featuring flavors reminiscent of cherry cough medicine, red currants, and pink grapefruit, balanced by darker undertones of hessian, bitter chocolate, and earthy tones.
FINISH: Medium to long, with lingering peppery notes, earthy nuances, and a touch of soot, culminating in a solitary sultana in the aftertaste.
