Scrappy's - Seville Orange | American Bitters

One of a series of bitters from a relatively new company in Seattle Washington (although truth be told anyone other than Fee, Angostura, Underberg and Peychauds - all in business for over 100 years - is a relative newcomer). Founded by Thomas Miles of Tavern Law a couple years ago after making homemade bitters at the bar because of the lack of any decent commercial bitters (much like a few other small bitters companies).

Seville Oranges are a classic Northern Hemisphere winter citrus. With more depth and complexity than a traditional orange, Scrappy's Seville Orange Bitters is reminiscent of marmalade and comforting winter spices, with subtle floral notes. Made from fresh Seville orange peel, this bitters is hyper-seasonal, only available in the Northern Hemisphere winter, and is the perfect bitters for your Christmas holiday food & beverage applications.
