Description

A blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon 34% Cabernet Franc,the 2014 vintage was fine and warm and it shone throughin a good crop of excellent quality grapes from Sally’s Hill.
The wine opens with fragrant ripe red fruits, cassis, mixed herbs and floral aromas. As it opens, darker berries, spices and violets arise. Wood aged maturity is also evident.
Good palate intensity due to firm tannins with dark cherry liqueur and plum flavours predominating. Generous fruit, oak spice and black and white pepper add complexity, depth and structure resulting in a long savoury finish.
Can be enjoy now, but will continue to develop in bottle for the next 10-15 years.
