Description

Bosconia faces south and has plenty of fruit sweetness. The Viña Bosconia Reserva shows the ripeness of a very warm and dry year. ITs structured and concentrated, quite different fromt eh finesse of Tondonia. The Bosconia has always been more rustic and powerful and Tondonia all about finesse and nuance. There are dark plaums and baking spices with a touch of singed leather. The fruit very strong to counterbalance the aging in oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

In general, Viña Bosconia wines are elegant but full-bodied; have a deep color and good structure, and are wines with great complexity and expression. Viña Bosconia is fruitier than the Viña Tondonia, with a higher proportion in Tempranillo, is less dry and warmer. Elegant with an impeccable balance, smooth, displaying a great quality of fresh fruit, plums, morello cherries, good refreshing acidity in a very fine, classy wine.
