Description

Made primarily with Syrah grapes, the Amore e Follia Toscana IGT by Podere Le Ripi is a Biodynamic deep red wine, with rich earthy aromas, and a silky mouthfeel.

Tasting Notes

The Podere Le Ripi Amore e Follia is made with 95% Syrah and 5% Sangiovese grapes from the IGT Toscana Rosso appellation. These grapes are aged for 15 months in concrete vats, and the resulting wine has an ABV of 14%. It has a deep red color, with purple hues, and is wonderfully balanced. On the nose, you get black fruit, pine wood, and forest floor, with notes of jasmine and white rose. Silky on the palate, you get fine tannins and peppery notes, with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Food Pairing
