Description

The village of Condrieu is the only true white wine appellation of the northern rhone. Vineyards cling to the steep hillsides along the Rhone river bordered by the vineyards of Cote Rotie directly to the north and St. Joseph and Hermitage to the south. The Grapes for the Jaboulet Les Cassines come from a 5 acre vineyard on the steep slopes overlooking the river. The vineyard has an ideal south/ southeast exposure and soils of granite pebbles.

Tasting Notes

Bright golden yellow color with a green tint. The taste is rich, wide and elegant and has a fresh aftertaste.

Delicious as an aperitif and with shellfish and fresh salads.
