Description

The Carignan that goes into this wine comes from vines planted in 1958, dry-farmed, bush-trained near Melozal. All of these characteristics provide us with tremendously balanced fruit that in turn allows us to make great wines.

The 13-year-old vineyard that produces our Cabernet Sauvignon is located in the rolling hills of the Bellavista sector of the valley. The soils are predominately granitic with approximately 30% clay. Add this to the climate in Chile’s 8th region, and the result is a fresh wine with very good structure and those much-desired graphite tannins.
