Description

A single cask sherried Dailuaine, independently bottled by the fabulous Douglas Laing. This single malt Scotch whisky was distilled and left to mature in a refill sherry butt for 10 years, before it was bottled without additional colouring or chill-filtration at 48.4% ABV for the Old Particular range.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Thick sherried sweetness from flamed orange peel, caramelised dates and bright red fruits are tempered by soft oak spices.

TASTE:
Toasted barley, Christmas cake and jammy dark fruits emerge with touches of vanilla essence and mocha.

FINISH:
Blueberry pancakes with a generous helping of maple syrup.
