Description

Mount Nelson has been created to capture a complete and specific expression of the Sauvignon Blanc, as produced in the Marlborough region of New Zealand, which is already considered to be the world`s best area for this grape variety. This select topography is characterised by soils of various types, resulting in a wine that combines the liveliness of the New World with the classical styling of Europe. After careful blending to assure a regular and typical result, personally assisted by Marchese Lodovico Antinori, the wine is aged in the bottle for a few months.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Clear and bright with pale green body and straw shadings on the margins.

NOSE:
Tropical, citrus fruits on the nose, with white peach and lime blossom.

TASTE:
A wonderful balance between acidity, richness and volume with mineral hints and an elegant gooseberry edge.
