The Linkwood 1946 36-Year-Old, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, is a remarkable single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside region. Distilled in 1946 and matured for 36 years, it was bottled in the early 1980s at 40% ABV in 75cl bottles.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Rich aromas of juicy sultanas and sherry, complemented by hints of wood shavings, pine oil, subtle notes of rubber, leather, and a touch of cereal sweetness.

TASTE:
Full-bodied and smooth, featuring an abundance of fruit flavors. The oak imparts chewy tannins, accompanied by a dark nuttiness and mixed citrus peels.

FINISH:
Long and fruity, with a pronounced oak presence.
