Description

VINIFICATION:
Wine is refined in stainless steel vats at first and later in big oak barrels, until it reaches a high structural complexity in order to be able to go through a further evolution in smaller barrels. Full-bodied, warm and long-lingering taste. Hand picked and selected grapes, long maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Intense ruby red.

NOSE:
Intense with mulberry and sour cherry hints. It offers remarkably complex scents, with balsamic and fruity aromas combined with spicy notes.

TASTE:
Elegant with a rich tannic texture. Distinct retrofactory sensations of red fruit (mulberry) with spice and licorice scents, a complex persistent finish.

Food Pairing

Important main courses, pasta “alla chitarra” with lamb, Abruzzo timbale, pappardelle with boar, roast pork, tenderloin with green pepper, roasted lamb, stuffed mushrooms, polenta with sausage.
