This elegant, smooth and fruity expression from Kirin was created at their Fuji Gotemba distillery using three different still types – a pot still, a continuous still and a doubler that is generally used for bourbon and sake making. This has brought three unique styles of spirit to the release and they blend seamlessly to create a unique and complex expression.
| TASTING NOTES | NOSE: There's crisp and woody vanilla. Heavy on the grain, specifically corn and rye. TASTE: Sweet and mellow, with hints of caramel, vanilla, and sugar-coated orange slices. FINISH: Slightly bitter, and overall a great oaky closure. Some citrus wraps things up. |
