Description

Izar-Leku Hondarrabi Zuri 2016It is a single variety of Hondarrabi Zuri grapes planted in vineyards on clay slopes with a rocky substrate of slate and basalt with superficial sandstone. The grapes, harvested manually, undergo cold maceration for a period of between 24 and 48 hours. Once pressed, the must ferments at low temperature, and the wine is aged for six months on the lees in stainless steel tanks. After tirage, the wine is bottled to undergo the second fermentation, and it ages in rhymes for 30 months.

Tasting Notes

Of a pale golden color, on the nose the fruit rules, roasted apple, along with some citrus notes of fennel and bakery. Its mouth is consistent with the nose, it has fine and abundant bubbles, very good acidity and a broad and creamy attack.
