Tasting Notes
NOSE:
A rich and complex bouquet of dark dried fruits (figs, dates, and raisins), honey, polished oak, and warm baking spices. Hints of toffee, vanilla, and candied orange peel emerge, complemented by a touch of dark chocolate and roasted almonds.
TASTE:
Silky smooth and full-bodied, with deep flavors of treacle, caramelized nuts, ripe orchard fruits, and sherried richness. The influence of long aging introduces notes of leather, tobacco, dark cocoa, and nutmeg, balanced by a subtle citrus zest and creamy malt sweetness.
FINISH:
Exceptionally long and warming, with lingering notes of sherried fruitcake, seasoned oak, spiced honey, and a delicate nuttiness, gradually fading into a velvety dark chocolate and cinnamon spice.
