Tasting Notes
NOSE:
An exquisite blend of dark dried fruits (figs, dates, and raisins), rich toffee, aged oak, and Christmas spices. Layers of sherried sweetness, chocolate, orange zest, and polished leather unfold, with a subtle hint of walnuts and cinnamon.
TASTE:
Luxuriously smooth and full-bodied, delivering waves of treacle, spiced fruitcake, roasted nuts, and caramelized brown sugar. The influence of long sherry maturation brings out dark cocoa, espresso, and nutmeg, while a touch of citrus and honeyed malt balances the depth.
FINISH:
Exceptionally long, warm, and complex, with lingering notes of oak, dried fruit, spice, and dark chocolate, slowly fading into a delicate nutty and sherried aftertaste.
