The Glengoyne 17 Year Old is a now-discontinued Highland single malt that was once a favorite among whisky enthusiasts. Renowned for its unpeated style, this whisky was matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks, resulting in a beautifully balanced dram with rich fruit, oak spice, and a silky smooth texture. Bottled at 43% ABV, the Glengoyne 17 Year Old was a standout in the distillery’s lineup before being replaced by the 18-year-old expression.

Rich and inviting, with notes of toffee, honey, dried apricots, and sherried fruit. Hints of vanilla, oak, and cinnamon spice mingle with subtle floral and nutty undertones.
TASTE:
Wonderfully smooth and complex, offering flavors of caramelized nuts, orchard fruits (baked apples and pears), and creamy malt. The sherry cask influence brings in dark chocolate, raisins, and gentle oak spice, while the bourbon casks add layers of vanilla and citrus zest.
