From Glenglassaugh's third batch of Rare Cask Release expressions comes a 47 year old single malt finished in a single Pedro Ximenéz Sherry puncheon. Cask 2230 was filled all the way back in December 1968 and cracked open in November 2016.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Gentle notes of dates and blackcurrants, dark chocolate fondant and fresh black peppercorns.

TASTE:
Sun dried raisins and golden sultanas, a dusting of cocoa, hints of walnut loaf and delicate oak.
