Cadenhead's, Scotland’s oldest independent bottler. Distilled in 1963 and aged for 24 years, this whisky was bottled in the late 1980s at natural cask strength, without chill filtration or added coloring. Unlike the standard Glenfiddich releases, this Cadenhead’s bottling offers a more intense and unfiltered experience, making it a true collector’s item and a remarkable example of long-aged Glenfiddich.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Elegant and refined, with notes of honeyed malt, ripe orchard fruits (pear, apple, and apricot), and delicate oak spice. Hints of vanilla, citrus zest, and polished leather emerge, with a subtle touch of floral heather and beeswax.
TASTE: Smooth and complex, delivering layers of honeyed barley, dried fruits, and soft spice. The influence of long maturation brings out flavors of rich caramel, toasted almonds, and oak, balanced by a gentle citrus vibrancy and creamy vanilla. A slight herbal and earthy undertone adds further depth.
FINISH: Long and lingering, with notes of sweet malt, aged oak, and a touch of nutmeg spice, gradually fading into gentle floral and honeyed undertones.
