Tasting Notes

NOSE: Beautifully rich and complex, with aromas of dried fruits (raisins, figs, and dates), dark chocolate, and aged oak. Layers of toffee, caramelized nuts, and polished leather intertwine with hints of Christmas spices, espresso, and a touch of tobacco.
TASTE: Full-bodied and luxurious, delivering an explosion of sherried sweetness, treacle, and honeyed malt. Notes of black cherries, orange zest, and roasted almonds are balanced by deep oak spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and dark cocoa. The cask strength gives it a powerful yet refined intensity.
FINISH: Exceptionally long and warming, with lingering notes of dark chocolate, antique oak, espresso, and a hint of smoke, fading into a velvety, nutty sweetness.
