The GlenDronach 27-Year-Old 1990 Single Cask #1014 is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky, distilled on March 19, 1990, and bottled in 2017 as part of the distillery's Batch 16 single cask releases. This expression was matured exclusively in a Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon, yielding 641 bottles at a cask strength of 50.9% ABV.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Intriguing complexity of sherry and French brandy-soaked plum, raisin, and dates, tempered by dunnage earth and leather saddles.
TASTE: At first, elegant soft plums disguise a crescendo of spiced mulled wine progressing to a finale of dried fruit, dark chocolate, and walnut.
