The GlenDronach 18-Year-Old 1996 Single Cask #244 is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in February 1996 and bottled in November 2014 as part of the distillery's Batch 11 single cask releases. This expression was matured in an Oloroso sherry butt, yielding 399 bottles at a cask strength of 56.9% ABV.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Rich, sweet figs infused with vanilla and ground almonds, balanced with a crisp ginger spice.
TASTE: A tremendous balance of mixed candied peel and stewed dark fruits sprinkled with dark Demerara sugar, accompanied by delicious waves of toffee.
FINISH: Cracked barley and warm oak spices combine to give a long, elegant finish.
