Description

Intense ruby red tending to the garnet, the nose expresses an intense, complex scent, with hints of ripe fruit on which marasca precipitates and delicate notes of spices. On the palate it is soft, warm, rich in noble and persistent tannins.
The selection of the best grapes, the deliberately low yielding vine gives a great structure to this wine. The "Grosso Agontano" matures from one to two years in small oak barrels and almost as many bottles before being placed on the market. A period that gives this great Conero those scents of marasca typical of montepulciano that blend harmoniously with those of the wood. Suitable for long aging.
