Description

The harvest was plentiful Heavy rains in winter and spring, followed by a very dry summer gave extremely healthy berries. Harvest tool place from September 29th – October 20th and gave wines with powerful black fruit aromas, balanced tannins, intense colour and low acidity.

Tasting Notes

Intense and deep high cherry-red colour with very lively tones. Clean and bright with dense tears. Complex intense nose with ripened blackberries, cassis, toasted coffee, dry cigar leafs and fine species such as black pepper, coriander seeds and nutmeg. The taste is silky, fresh and dense, with sweet and velvety tannins. Harmonic tone to the palate. Long and elegant finish.

Food Pairing

This wine is ideally served at room temperature (16ºC- 61ºF) to accompany steak, venison and other hearty fare such as stews and roast, as well as hard cheeses. We suggest decanting.
