Description

This wine has the typical St. Amour colour, red with hints of amber, the legacy of its clayey, chalky soil. The nose is explosive. It's a blend of berry and candied fruit aromas. In the mouth, its initial elegance and delicacy are surprising. This frilliness gives way, in the finish, to a rusticity which makes it more virile than at the start of the tasting.

Tasting Notes

Light and Perfumed. At first this wines has a shiny ruby-red colour that becomes crimson after a few years in bottles. There are subtle aromas of berries, peony and sometimes of peach apricot. This very fruity and pleasant wine gets more powerful with time.

Food Pairing

Will fit perfectly with meat dishes with sauce and strong cheeses. To be served ideally at 13°C.
