Description

From a renowned producer of the Rhône valley, La Tournée is a typical bistro wine made of Syrah and Grenache grown in the warm and sunny Languedoc. The grapes were blended together and then aged on the lees to add complexity and depth to the wine.

The wine's vines are grown on clay and calcareous hillsides in Herault and Gard area, in the south of France. The grape varieties are vinified separately in stainless steel or concrete vats. Fermentation is followed by a short maceration of roughjly 10 days at low controlled temperature to favor fresh fruits aromas. Gentle extraction by pumping over. The two grapes varieties are blended and aged on fine lees in neutral content to bring complexity to the wine.
