Famille Perrin - La Vieille Ferme Rouge - 2022 | French Red Wine

Beautiful red color, with purple highlights. With a lot of freshness, this rich and spicy wine offers red and black fruits aromas (blackberry, black currant). The palate is beautifully balanced, crunchy, with silky tannins and a very long and aromatic finish.
Since 1970, La Vieille Ferme has been producing authentic, honest and tasty wines vintage after vintage. In some of the world’s best restaurants and bars, La Vieille Ferme has been acknowledged as one of the best value for money wines in the world.
The year 2015 was also excellent in the South. The winter was mild and humid, the spring warm and dry, so that the health of the grapes was exceptionally good. The vines survived the heat and drought in the summer well, since they had good water reserves. A satisfactory flowering followed a lot of rain in August, which favored a quick and even grape ripeness with increased phenolic and anthocyanin content. As in the north, the harvest took place under optimal conditions.
