Don Julio blanco is a very good tequila within this price range

It is not as clean/crisp as Patron, but it is smoother and has more agave flavor. I would say this is a better sipping/shooting tequila than Patron, but Patron is the better cocktail tequila. Don Julio to me is the starting point of a what a very good true tequila can taste like. If you like Don Julio, you might want to give Fortaleza blanco a try...that is my overall favorite tequila.

An outdstanding blanco

I normally prefer reposados and anejos as the aging mellows the alcohol and adds to the flavor. But this one is an exception. Fine agave character, but with a hint of honey and citrus.
