Description

The Muscat vineyards forFreyé Parellada Muscat are at an altitude of 380 metres, and those of Parellada between 320 and 640 metres. The Muscat is harvested at the end of August, and the Parellada from the end of September to the beginning of October.

Before fermentation, the Freyé Parellada Muscat must undergoes a five-hour maceration with the skins at a low temperature of about 10 ºC, to extract the aromas and compounds from the grape. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14 ºC. This pre-fermentation maceration and low-temperature fermentation serve to better preserve and extract the fruity aromas of the grape.

In Freyé Parellada Muscat the two varieties have been perfectly combined, creating a fresh and fruity wine with an elegant and persistent finish.
