Description

Irancy, a pinot noir and purple caesar, aged in oak barrels, with a very fruity, firm and velvety bouquet. It goes very well with fleshy flavors, grilled pork ribs, pâtés en croute and aged cheeses.

Tasting Notes

Clay-limestone slopes dating from the Kimmeridgian. After fermentation with the yeasts naturally present on the grapes, the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (10 to 15% new). Movements and inputs are kept to a strict minimum in order to guarantee an authentic taste of the terroir. Under its deep purple color and its garnet reflections, it has a very fruity bouquet of blackcurrant, morello cherry and blackberry. On the palate, its tannins melt to give way to a firm and velvety structure. Its natural freshness ensures excellent aging potential.
