Description

As for the dry white Esprit de Chevalier, this barrel-aged second wine is rich, lively, and complex with very pure aromas. Esprit de Chevalier Blanc is a fruity, classy wine, but more open than the grand vin and therefore a treat to drink young.

Tasting Notes

The color is crystalline, golden hue with green reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of citrus fruits, white flowers and stony and smoky mineral notes. Then, in the mouth, the wine is marked by a superb freshness associated with great richness. Beyond the magnificent expression of the Sauvignon Blanc, one can perceive the unctuousness of the Semillon. Class and elegance are expressed in fullness in the finish.

Food Pairing

Domaine de Chevalier Rouge is also good with Asian dishes, hearty fish courses like tuna, mushrooms, and pasta. Domaine de Chevalier Blanc is a perfect wine to serve with all types of seafood, fish, shellfish, crab, lobster, chicken, veal, port, and of course a myriad of hard and soft cheeses.
