Codorníu - Anna de Codorníu - Viñas de Anna Blanc de Blancs (Tranquillo) | Spanish White Wine

Viñas de Anna Blanc de Blancs is a white wine from the D.O Catalunya produced by Codorníu.

This is a wine made with Chardonnay and Muscat. The grapes originate from various parcels with an array of different soils. This way, the wine is able to express a unique texture, juiciness and freshness. The grapes are transferred to the winery by night when the temperatures are lower, this prevents the grapes from oxidation and aids to preserve the grape´s qualities.

The following phase, the grapes are pressed and clarified to clean the must, this lasts for 1-2 days at low temperatures. Viñas de Anna Blanc de Blancs is then taken to stainless steel tanks to start the fermentation process at 16-18ºC.

Ending this phase, the final blend from the different tanks is performed to produce Viñas de Anna Blanc de Blancs.
