Clos Grangeneuve - Pomerol | French Red Wine

Clos Grangeneuve is a wine that can always be bought at a reasonable price, even though as much effort and hard work has gone into producing the wine as there is in the area's more prestigious neighboring properties such as Château Grangeneuve, Château la Pointe, Château Rouget and Château les Cabanes, located just up and down the vineyards of Clos Grangeneuve. The wine from Clos Grangeneuve is produced exclusively on Merlot from vines that have an average age of over 40 years.

The grapes are hand-picked and sorted thoroughly. In the vinification, "girl age" is performed to extract maximum color and tannin for the wine, which subsequently undergoes the malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. The wine is then stored in French oak barrels for a period of at least 14 months. The wines from Clos Grangeneuve are sold in Denmark exclusively by 1855 Cru A / S
