Description

Clos Figueras - Serras del Priorat is a premium red wine from the renowned Clos Figueras winery, located in the rugged and prestigious Priorat region of Catalonia, Spain. This wine is an exceptional expression of the region’s unique terroir, which is defined by its steep slopes, slate soils (locally known as "licorella"), and the Mediterranean climate. Serras del Priorat is made from a selection of the best grapes from the estate's older vines, resulting in a wine that is complex, concentrated, and full of character.

The Serras del Priorat is a blend of Grenache (Garnacha), Carignan (Cariñena), and a small percentage of Syrah, crafted to showcase the depth and minerality of Priorat’s terroir. The grapes are sourced from the estate's highest vineyard plots, which are exposed to optimal sun and temperature conditions. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 12–18 months in French oak barrels, which adds complexity and structure, while still allowing the expression of the fruit and mineral character of the region to shine through.
