Description
The tequila created for this edition pays homage to our iconic Clase Azul Tequila Reposado. Our Master Distiller, Virdiana Tinoco, reimagined her creation to give it a special touch.
Some of the agaves used to make this blend went through a traditional grinding process with a tahona, a method that dates back to the origins of tequila. In addition, its fermentation process was extended to accentuate the citrus and fruity notes of the liquid.
This blend was aged for eight months in two first-use bourbon barrels, each imparting its distinctive rich flavor notes.

Tasting Notes
COLOR: bright amber gold.
NOSE: agave honey, banana, woody notes, toasted coconut, light vanilla, nuances of caramel, dark chocolate, caramelized apple and malted grain.
TASTE: notes of caramel, vanilla, almond, agave honey and banana; toasty oak finish, cocoa, faint earthy and mineral tones and a long cinnamon finish.
