Description

The "R" of Rieussec is produced on the estate of Château Rieussec, 1er Cru Classé in Sauternes. It comes partly from the same vines that will give Sauternes. The fermentation is done for 20% in barrels. This technique gives the wine good aging potential while preserving the freshness and fruitiness of the grapes as much as possible.

Tasting Notes

Powerful and harmonious nose with notes of citrus, mango and other exotic fruits. The attack on the palate, frank and energetic, confirms the exotic and fresh profile. The wine has good volume and good harmony. The buttery notes of aging in barrels are very present and will quickly blend into the wine to give complexity. The end of the mouth is supported by a nice acidity.
