Description

One of the most southerly of the Saint-Estèphe châteaux, Lilian Ladouys is on the same plateau as Cos d’Estournel, about half a mile to the west. The blend is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot; with the wine being aged for about 15 months in oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Deep dark red.

NOSE:
Blackcurrant fruit and forest notes, mixed with roasted herbs, licorice and a touch of oak.

TASTE:
Flavors of spices, cedar plank and toast on the palate, with blackberry and oak hints.
